Dr. Maureen Georgy Palso
Dr. Georgy graduated from Case Western Reserve Dental School in April of 1999. From July 2000 to June 2001 she worked with a local dental office. That provided her with invaluable experience managing patients. Since 2005, Dr. Georgy has been fully devoted to the development and success of Ideal Dentistry. She has lead Ideal Dentistry to become one of the most recognized and respected general dentistry groups in the Tampa Bay area.
Dr. Georgy is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and is a Premier Provider for Invisalign. Dr. Georgy is married and lives with her husband, three sons and dog Sasha in Land O Lakes, Florida.
Dr. John Girgis
Dr. Girgis was born and raised here in Tampa, Florida. He attended Florida A&M University, where he earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree. He then continued his education at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Prior to moving back to Tampa, he completed a one year General Practice Residency at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, where he became proficient in all aspects of general and hospital dentistry, including providing services to those with special needs.
Dr. Girgis is committed to bringing the highest quality dental care to all of his patients. His services include Invisalign, crown and bridge, veneers, root canal therapy, implant placement and restoration, and much more.
Dr. Girgis is passionate about participating in global mission work at least once a year to give back to people in need.
He loves to stay current with the latest trends and advancements in dentistry, enrolling in hundreds of hours of Continuing Education per year. He is also an active member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, and the West Coast District Dental Association.
When not in the office, Dr. Girgis enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, staying active by going to the gym, running, playing soccer and golf. He is also a huge fan of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Lightning, and Rays!
Amanda Langford, Office Manager
Amanda has known since a young age, that dentistry is the field she wanted to be in. Born and raised in Yulee, FL (Amelia Island), she earned her associates degree at Santa Fe College and then moved to Tampa in 2007. She then received her Expanded Function Dental Assistant (E.F.D.A.) certification and worked as an assistant for a year before being promoted to Office Manager.
Amanda makes sure the office runs smoothly and efficiently. She loves being able to be the patients advocate, and loves when patients leave with more confidence in themselves. Amanda is passionate about, “making sure we fight for the patient with their insurance companies and making sure we can maximize those benefits and get them in the best oral health possible.”
In her spare time, whether she is running the Tampa Riverwalk, or taking her puppies out on Tampa trails, Amanda enjoys being outdoors! You can also find her on the beach most weekends.
Mary Albano, RDH
Mary first started working with Dr. Georgy in 2004. Her personal approach to working with patients focuses on building patient trust and confidence in a healthy environment. Mary’s role in our practice is to help you achieve optimum periodontal health. She will educate and provide information to enable you to improve your oral health, thus contributing to the well being of your general health. No matter how long it’s been since your last visit, we’ll get you on the road to health and recovery.
Lisa Orlando, EFDA
Lisa is one of Dr.Georgy’s Dental assistants for over 6 years and over 12 years experience in the dental field. She enjoys her work and helping others feel comfortable at the dentist is her top priority. Always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. When she’s not with her dental family she loves to travel, enjoy delicious foods and outdoor activities.
Natalie Burkette, EFDA
Natalie is a true Floridian and has been here her entire life! She received her Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (E.F.D.A.) certification in 2004 from Concorde Career Institute. The dental field is always progressing technologically and Natalie loves learning new techniques to keep up. Natalie is passionate about each patient having a great experience every time they come into our office. If you ask her what the best part about being part of the team here at Ideal Dentistry, Natalie will tell you that the team is an “amazing group of people. I love how they truly want what’s best for their patients.”
In her free time, Natalie enjoys reading and spending time with her family.
Kelly Rodriguez, RDH
Kelly grew up in Tampa and has been practicing dental hygiene for 20 years. She is the mother of 3 active children. Kelly spends her free time attending her children’s various sporting events and spending time with family and friends.
Sandi Suma
Sandi has been with Dr. Georgy for over 13 years. She has worked in the dental field for many years and her love of dentistry and all of the wonderful people she has met have made many lasting memories. Sandi lives in Valrico with her husband Art and her little rescue Shih Tzu named Mei-Ling. She also is the mother to 3 grown children. She and Art moved to Florida 17 years ago and DO NOT MISS THE SNOW!
